The 2008 U.S. Economic Stimulus Act

The Act also allows taxpayers to deduct from their 2008 taxable income up to $250,000 worth of equipment purchases placed into service before December 31, 2008 (applies to companies who placed less than $1,050,000 of equipment into service in 2008).
In addition, Nortel is offering $1 Buy-out Leases which enable you to pay for your equipment over time and still take advantage of this year's Economic Stimulus Act.
